At Step-By-Step Counselling I offer bespoke Person-Centred and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
All of us experience difficult times in our lives; such as a bereavement/loss, relationship issues, emotional/physical trauma and changes that we struggle to cope with and accept.
Sometimes we can become overwhelmed, lose direction, lack motivation/focus/clarity and we can become isolated, stressed, troubled, feel desperate and alone.
All of this can have a detrimental effect on our lives, affecting our perception of ourselves and others, our ability to function in everyday life; leading to feelings of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and low-confidence.
It can be difficult to utilise our usual sources of support, such as family and friends, as maybe we feel we can’t trouble them or they wouldn’t understand; so we begin to feel alone with our issues and that no-one can help.
Realising you may need some extra support can be difficult to accept, but this is the first step in the right direction.
